Malas (Prayer Beads)

Malas are Rosaries or Prayer Beads mainly used for japa (mantra repetition) or prayer before meditation. (See my article on Mantra Repetition in the Blog section on the main site.) Malas also make great gifts as necklaces you can wear around the neck to impart its vibration to your whole body.
